Hi,
I am just wondering, I want to meet with a realtor and start looking around at homes, but I don't know how much I can borrow etc. There is a just a 50 50 chance I will buy something, however right now I'm only seeing whats out there, and how much I can afford, etc.
So am I hurting my credit score by going through the pre-approval process? Is there some way for somebody who isn't 100% sold on the idea of buying a home to find out what he/she can afford without hurting their credit scores?
LOL.
hurt score
Hi Elora,
If you don't apply for any loans, then your credit won't get hurt. Moreover, even if you apply for a loan with several company, within 14 days it won't hurt your score much. That is all the inquiries will be considered as one.
Thanks,
Aaron
