Got a settlement notice from a 2nd CA/JDB in the mail today. Will send out a DV letter to 2nd CA/JDB. This CA/JDB is not listed on CR, only 1st CA and OC are listed on CR.
Any suggestions for those who have been through similar situation will be helpful.
I did send a DV to 2nd CA and was advised to send DV to first CA since 1st CA is listed on CR and two CAs cannot be collecting on the same debt.
Did call OC to see if I could work things out with them and was told to call 1sT CA since they are not aware the 2nd CA is in the mist.
1st and 2nd CA may be part of the same entity but DV both
