Can anyone answer a question for me, I have filed bankruptcy just got my case number last week, I have just now received a summons one of my credit card companies is suing me. Can they do this even when I have filed bankruptcy? Where do I go from here? Do I contact my bankruptcy attorney? HELP

Can you tell me whether or not this credit card has been included in your bankruptcy, and under which chapter have you filed the bankruptcy? I think it's better to contact a bankruptcy attorney.
However, if the credit card has been included in the bankruptcy, then you can file a motion to dismiss the summons.
