To better your credit report I will first ask you to get hold of a copy of your credit report to check the status. You need this to check whether or not everything is reported correctly. However I should say that it's not at all easy to boost your credit score quickly. You need patience for this.
First you need to settle the unsettled dues, if any. In relation to this your report should reflect "satisfied" or "settled". Secondly you should keep some of your credit accounts open. Other than this open a savings account and try putting in certain amount of cash every month into it. This will minimize the chances of any late payments. Fourthly get your credit cards secured. In addition avoid using payday loans. You can also join a Credit union. These all together with a great amount of patience will help boosting your credit report.
...also..when looking on your CR, look to see which debts will 'fall off' soon. When they do 'fall off', your credit score will go up a bit. If you think there are any mistakes, make sure and 'dispute' them with the CB. Also...keep paying down the debts you already have (loans, etc). The LESS debt you have, on your CR, the MORE your score will raise.
