I know my vacant land property was foreclosed upon only because I searched it online. I have not received any communication, not even a statement from them since Feb 2009. That communication was a letter stating their intention to foreclose and the law firm assigned to the process....literally nothing was received regarding the foreclosure that took place in may 2009. I expect I will receive a 1099c but nothing as of yet. What do I do if I don't receive one, because I really don't know what the amount reported would be?
you should contact the bank that foreclosed on it. I believe they have until sometime in Feb. to get the 1099cc to you.
does the bank have your address?
