Proper Validation?

I recently sent a CA (Assset Acceptance LLC) a debt validation letter in response to a debt I have. I received a letter that contained the original creditor name and address, the acct #, principal and interest amounts. They also list the last 4 digits of my SS.

I requested a more detailed accounting of the debt, copy of the original signed contract, and also to provide me with their license # to verify they could legally collect in my state (AZ) and they provided nothing more than what I listed above.

Is this constitute proper validation and can I begin the settlement negotiation process, or can I take another route on this?

The law says that the CA must cease collection activity until they respond. if they are on your report they must delete. But remember if they don't respond, they can just slink away and you wait until another CA buys your debt. this is a good sign though. Don't send anymore DV letters just keep your records
