If you have rental property how can you get the income from that to show up on your credit report and it included in your debt to income ratio?

No income information is not included on a consumer credit report.

Debt to income ratio (DTI) is calculated on the loan application, not by the credit bureau.

Hi Debra,

No, your rental income does not appear on your credit report. It is not included in your debt-to-income ratio. A credit report contains your name, social security number, address, phone number, date of birth and previous employers. It also contains your credit information like opening date of the account, account status, credit limit, monthly payment, outstanding balance, and your payment history. Information on tax liens and judgments also appear on your credit report. Inquiries are also displayed on your credit report.

Hello Doc, I want to say thank you for the links posted above. As much searching as I have done before I have never stumbled onto these pages. They are very informative and I hop anyone who has the chance will take a look at them. It will be worth the time.
