Not sure how much it affects your score that's hard to say. Your score is made up of several things and if you have any other negative debts listed or not. As far as getting it up dated you probably won't until it's paid in full. You can send them a pay for delete letter asking if they will delete it once it's been paid. And make sure to send it certified with receipt. So you will have proof they agreed to delete it once it is paid.
