I have a bike and didn't no my soon to be ex wife wasn't paying on it.Well its to late now to fix and they called a few times to get it back...I wasn't around and she has destroyed my credit so I cannot get a loan to pay it off.I'm trying to get someone to help with the loan but in the mean time long as they don't find it am i ok? can they ever report it stolen or anything? I wanna keep it very bad as now i cannot just go get a new one,and have alot of time and money into this thing..Thanx in advance...Todd

Since you have failed to pay for the bike, the lender unfortunately has the right to repossess it. However, the first thing you should do under such a circumstance is to call up the lender and try to negotiate with him. Try and convince him of a new payment plan through which you will be able to pay him the debt. Do not try to avoid the calls you have received from them, otherwise it might have an adverse effect. Remember one thing, do not try to conceal your bike from the lenders. This might lead the lenders to file an official complaint against you and you can end up in jail.
