I am on a disability pension and the Canadian Revenue Agency told me it was going to garnshee my pension for taxes I havn't been able to pay. I do send in a monthly payment but they tell me it isn't enough. Can they garnshee? Can I work with them to establish a payment I can afford? Or can they just demand as much as they deem fit?
I am not sure what the canadian revenue agency can do, but the United States would not garnish disability for anything.
You can only pay what you can pay, what more can they expect?
