I was in bankruptcy for five long years. I have since then paid all my debts in full and been on time or early with my mortgage company. Can a mortgage company reage your account as well? If so it would sure help with moving past this cloud that seems to follow my where ever i go.

If they can what should i do?

Hi Kone
If you have always been current on your mortgage payments then why is there a need to re-age your account. Re-aging is generally done in order to remove late marks from your credit report so that it does not affect your credit score.

my mortgage balance is £57000 with santander. my joint income with my wife is £18500 pa. I am retired and my wife is with M&S (13years).
I am aged 74 my wife is aged 64.
the current mortgage is in my name only and the term ends in 4 years time. although i have never dropped a payment in my life santander will not extend the current mortgage term so i need to remortgage with a new provider. the house is a dorma semi and we have lived in it for ten years. it's recent valuation was £ 135000
