Hi Angel,
This is not the place you are looking for. You need to contact the bank where you have applied for the card.

Imagine Card
If u can get an Imagine card, it WILL help your credit. They take a payment ( $20.00 per month draft) out of your checking account every month and report to the credit bureaus as an " on time payment". This card brought my score up a few points.
Imagine Card
OH MY!! Forgot to say, it is a $300.00 limit, so, you won't have a HUGE limit to 'deal' with. However..it is a bit higher % than other cards.
Hi Wendy,
Do you have an Imagine Card?. Great, do tell us more about your experience with the card. You said your score has gone up by some points. really interested to know. When did you get the card?
imagine card
This is the biggest ripoff in history, They make you pay a monthly fee of 19.95 a month plus charges on your account. i was below my limit and they add the fee now your above the limit. You have to pay the balance they give you. and then don't raise your limit. And then you have extra charges to pay. They ought to be ashamed of themselves. It's the new organized crime of our era.
credit card monsters
i payed the fee got the card could'nt use it for seven days then the seven days came they cancel the card i have been waiting for my refund for three months do not apply to imagine card
Imagine
WOW!!! I never had ANY problem, with Imagine. I don't why anyone had extra fees, coming out of your account. When I got hte Imagine card, I paid NO fees to 'activate' my card. As soon as i recieved it in hte mail, I started using it. I NEVER had to put any money 'down' for this card. They take a monthly payment out, of my bank account, for a payment. I never had to pay a dime more than that. It is a bit higher %, bacause it is for bad credit. But, every time you make a payment, it appears on your CR. I have ALREADY recieved a 'credit increase'. I don't know why people are saying negative things about this card. I would recommend this card to anyone!!
There are various problems that occur. May be your experience has been good till date. The ones who have faced trouble sees the other way. Got my point?
Imagine
Yes..I understand, Laura. Just telling ya what experiences I have had, with this card. When I applied, for the card, via the Web, it would show 'instant' results ( 'rejected OR declined'). In my opionion, it's a good card.
That is what. Even I want to know the real thing. Every coin has two sides. It is difficult to choose when we see both the sides. I have to know the pros and cons of course. Lets see what other posts come by.
credit card
I was doing alittle 'searching', myself, on the Imagine Credit Card. I did find out, if you do have an Imagine Card and it's a 'Secured' card ( which means you would have to put a deposit on the card). Whatever your deposit is, THAT amount is what is your Credit Limit. In THIS case..yes, there IS a $19.95 fee and certain charges taken out of your bank account. However.......if you have an 'Unsecured' Imagine card ( which I have). There is NO deposit and the credit limit is $300.00, with a $20.00 payment taken from your bank account. Hope this answers your question, Laura.
I know that part Wendy. You told me earlier also, but somehow the negative posts has some effect as well. This means that there are people who are facing trouble. thats what I want to know. Why so much of fuss if it is so good a card.
credit card
I do understand your point, Laura. You need to get 'the whole story', before you decide. That's true. Which...of course, makes sense. I am curious........why people ARE having so much trouble with it.
Imagine
Hey Laura. I have read your posts and understand you have some concern about the Imagine Card. I have had the card for about four months now and have had no problems with it at all. I am 22 years old with a limited credit history, and was given an initial credit line of $70. I have since had two credit increases of $30 each, giving me a current total limit of $130. I did notice I didn't get an increase for the month that I didn't use the card, but that was expected as it is written in the contract. During the first 12 months, you will receive an increase each month so long as your account is still open, you use your card, and make your minimum payment on time. Easy enough, huh?
By the end of 12 months, you have the potential to increase your credit limit by $540, for a total credit line of $610. The annual fee is only $15, and when I opened my account they charged a one-time fee of $4.95 to my bank account. Thus far, the only other fee I have experienced is a $19 fee for each time I received a credit increase (though this fee was not applied for the month I didn't use my card, since I wasn't eligible for a credit increase). This charge is deducted from your available credit.
Anyway, I have not experienced ANY fees that were not outlined in the agreement (the $19 'finance charge' for each time you recieve a credit increase IS disclosed) and as long as you make your payment on time, you won't be charged unnecessary fees for late payment (which, again, is part of the agreement). I have made all my payments on time and I always pay my balance in full - no interest to pay, I build my credit, and get increases all at once.
If you don't like the idea of being charged $19 for each month you receive credit a increase, you can just keep a zero balance and opt not to use your card for x number of months - that way you'll receive no credit increase, and won't be charged the $19 during those months. The agreement also states after the first year, "your account may be reviewed periodically for credit line increase eligibility subject to credit approval".
Anyway, my experience has been a good one and based on other reviews, it seems to me that the majority of people having problems are those who didn't make their payments like they should (or didn't have the money in their accounts when the ETF was initiated). If you have any other questions, please feel free to ask. :)

Hi....Anna!! Yeah....when I got the card, I got a $300.00 limit, on the 'first' try!! I was surprised!! Never had a problem. And, as u said, the 'activation fee' was $4.95. A $20.00 payment, is debited from my bank every month. I really love it!! Glad the Imagine Card is helping u, too!!
Wow thanks Anna. I was just concerned because I wanted to know the reason why people are facing trouble. Now I know that its their fault sometimes that is leading to this problem.
My credit history is also not really that huge. At 24 I cant expect it to be a long one though. But I want a clean account anyway. My score is proper now and I dont think i need to take an Imagine card. I was looking for more information because Shelly might opt for one and she was getting offers. (Oh Shelly is a cousin of mine :) )....we are pretty close. Thanks a lot for the info Anna and Wendy you of course. You said it from the first that its been working good for you. :)
credit card
Laura....Imagine card REALLY does help, getting some kind of credit history.
I hope that in the future, you will be able to recieve a better card. But I am happy that you've found something that works for you.
Imagine
I do apologize, if i wasn't very clear on explaning the Imagine Credit Card. I mean...ie.what would happen with increases, not making payments, etc.
Imagie Mastercards
I read on another site that the Inagine Card is no longer. Have anybody else heard this?
Hi Beth could you please tell me where did you read about it?
credit card
I never saw anything like that.Mmmm...interesting. I STILL have my card. Just made a pyment on it. I wonder if the comapny is NO LONGER taking applications. Can u tell me where u saw it?

When did you apply for a Imagine card? The only way ( I think) you can apply is on the Internet. After you filled out the application, the website should have told you, right then, if you were 'approved' or not.
credit card
Also........there is an 800 #, on the website, for Customer Service, if you are having problems. Let me know what you find out.
Hi Ronald...I think you have already applied for the card but not received right?
Keep track of the proceedings if possible. This is not the site you are looking for.
I had an imagine credit card, it was okay they aren't all that great. But when it came to paying off the balance and closing the account it was horrible. After two months of closing the account I recived a statement showing I owed them $178, which were maintenance fee charges and late fees. I called them to get this resolved because I didnt owe anything they gave me the run around it took me two more months to get the charges taken off, remind you this account was closed with a zero balance. Now I just recieved another statement saying I owe them another $69 for maintenance fees and a late charge. I have to call them again and resolve this because I owe them nothing. I really regret the day I applied for their credit card.
This credit card company is riddiculous plus you have to deal with customer service from overseas, its frustrating because now they have caused my credit rating to go down.
If you have this card, GOOD LUCK!
credit card
" Customer service overseas?" I never new that...wow!! I call a customer service line.it's a recording asking for your credit card 3,etc. Tells me when my next payment is due and what my "balance and available credit" is. I never had a problem, that I had to talk 'live' to a person.
Ok....another problem here Amarie... thanks for notifying. My sister had problem immediate after she opened an account.
imagine credit card
This credit card company is absolutely terrible. I applied for this card August 21,2007 and was approved for $70 limit but have yet to recieve the card. I've called 5x since then and they were saying that my application was still pending.I just got off the phone with customer service(Supervisor) and now they are saying they never recieved my application, when I mentioned that I was reporting them to the BBB all of a sudden they found it,but it's still pending because they just recieved it on Sept 26,2007 a month later after I applied online.
Not only that when I applied for the card I made a copy of everything from the 1st page to the approval decision I recieved online August 21,2007 just incase something like this happens. I have all the proof to show they are nothing but a BIG RIP OFF. Oh I also forgot to mention that when I applied online back on August 21,2007 they WERE NOT asking for banking information.
My husband applied and was approved for $300,when he recieved the card he was told that he had to send in $4.95 to begin using his card and it takes 7 days to process. And after sending in his $4.95 to activate his card, they then tell him that he has to open a bank account in order to use the card. That would not have been a problem if when he applied for the card as I did online the application process INCLUDED ASKING FOR BANKING INFO,it NEVER asked for banking information NOT ONE TIME.
Now at this point so happenly the company has changed the policy and everyone that applies for this card has to have a banking account as of August 22,2007.Go Figure 1 day after I applied the policy changes and the website that I applied on is No Longer Accepting New Members. If you put all this together and think really hard, they are full of crap.
Now for anyone who has recieved the card and has no complaints, I'm truly happy for you.Good Luck!!! But for people like myself who is trying to rebuild their credit or improve it, WATCH OUT FOR CROOKS.
If anyone has applied for this card before August and was approved without BANKING INFO,you know what I'm talking about and what I'm saying is not a lie.
And the web page that I applied on was CreditCardExpo.com,if you look it up you will see what i'm talking about. This has been posted since August 22,2007.
KETIA
Thats pathetic. How can they receive an online application a month later to the application date? Thats absolute fraud. Ketia..welcome to the forum and I appreciate that you have expressed your concern for all. There are people who are happy with the card but I am sure that in the recent months things have gone Topsy turvy.
As you are trying to improve your credit I am just giving my inputs here.
* Beware of scams.
* Keep a check on your credit file and keep it clean of unnecessary items.
* Pay off existing debts on time
* Try and use varied kinds of cards like master cards, visa, gasoline cards. a retail store card or departmental store card can also be of help.
* Try not to exceed 25% of the credit limit. 10% should be the goal but its not always possible to maintain that
* Do not apply for too many credit cards which encourages frequent hard inquiries on your report which results in lowering of your credit score.
* STAY AWAY from PAYDAY loans. They are of no help
I hope these points can help you further. :)

I'm sorry to hear SOO many people are having problems with Imagine Card. WOW!! I hope things get better, with all of you who applied.
Imagine Credit Card
The above credit card is a total rip-off due to the fact the company misleads you to belive that the card holder has a $300.00 credit limit, when in fact the above credit card company charges you a $150.00 fee just to acvicate the card. THEN the above credit card company will then deduct $25.00 processinhg fees from your bank account, withouth your permission. If that is not illeagal then Bill Clinton was not lying when he said I did not have sex with that woman.

imagine crd is not a ggod card.
Both my cousin and i have this crd. I just closed mine which was a pain to do. My credit is 3 yrs new, so I thought, I'd try this card just to help my revolving debt experience. Nope!!! I got the card in July and they just reportrd it to the bureaus for the first time 4 days ago! I had to call and beg for them to report it. My cousin's credit is very new, so he appied and got the $70.00 dollar card. He's actually had his card 2 mos lomger than me and they still have not reported his. He got a chase stdent and a capital one since then with $500.00 limits each (unsecured) and these cards have already reported.
Imagine's parent compant is bank of delaware and there cust service is in India. They are sooo.... rude and don't have decent cust service skills. I would stear clear of them. I have had very good success with Orchard bank, 3 yrs now and they raised my limit from $300.00 to $1500.00 in 3 yrs. (not huge fees either.) Also first premier card. Not as good with the fees, but still they report fast and accurate. If you are a student and have very new credit, try Chase. Hope this helps! : )
credit card
I've had the Imagine card, for over a year now. As soon as I 'activated' it, it showed on my CR. I know several people who have this card. Some of them are having problems, some are not. I have Orchard, also. In my opionion, great card.
You are lucky Wendy. Actually what happens is when people have some good experiences they are happy and dont feel the need to report the positive points but if they face trouble they report it. Thats why we hear more about the rip-offs rather than the positives.
This is just my POV.
credit card
I get your point, Laura. Makes sense to me. Even if people ARE having good experiences, shouldn't they post it?......so other people can get a 'outlook' on the issue? But, yea, I get what your saying. They can be LOTS more people happy with this credit card, but, they're not letting someone know. So.that means, all people are seeing are the 'negative' posts.
Imagine card
I must say from personal experience overall the card has been good to me. When I first applied online I receive $350.00 credit limit with a $30.00 monthly payment deducted from my checking account. I have paid late a few times but I still was able to get an increase. As of today my credit limit is $500.00. I had this card maybe a year tops. The only downfall for me is, when you seem to have a problem and you call the 800 number you always get a person that don't speak good english but that's it. Everything else is good overall.
Never mind. Customer service is outsourced most of the time. You might have come across someone who does not speak English. :). Its good that the card worked for you. It did for Wendy as well.
credit card
hey..BKchick,.....I've never asked for an 'increase'. And, THIS question, I just don't know. Do you pay a fee for an increase? I know some cards you do. I've just been happy at the limit I'm at now ( $300.00). Never asked about the ' increase thing'.
I dont think you have to ask in order to increase the credit limit. Your account transactions, if it remains at a good position, the creditor will always try to provide a higher credit limit to you. Thats business for him and an accomplishment for you. Just the awareness of correct utilisation of the card is required. Many people still dont know that keeping the credit utilisation low affects credit score in a positive way.
credit card
Hi sdchargers_63....No I never ask for an increase because according to their policy you can not request an increase. I never notice a fee being charged for the increase neither. This last increase I received was a surprise for me because I was definitely not expecting this one. I received a $100.00 increase a few days ago but my very first increase was $50.00. Maybe the next one will be $150.00. But I'm okay at $500.
sdchargers, I have never heard of this card before, has it helped you increase your score? Can you pm me some more informaiton on it?
card
Goodnatured.......OHH!! This was what you were talking about!! Well......it's called Imagine Card. It's for low or bad credit. You can apply on line.............www.MyImagine Card.com ( I belive that's the website). You can get a 'secured' or 'non-secured' credit card. It just depends on what the comapny comes up with, when they run a credit check on you. It just takes a few minutes to apply. The website will tell you, with in minutes, if you are approved and what kind of card you are approved for ( secure or non-secure). You also may want to read this forum on experiences from others, about this card. Some people have had good experiences and some have had bad. I guess it depends on what 'wroks for you'. But remember,......WHATEVER credit card you apply for, ALWAYS read the 'fine print' ( fees, activation, etc.). Tell me how things go.
card
FORGOT to tell ya...if that's not the correct website, you can go to a Search Engine and type in Imagine Card. You can find it that way, as well.
I tell you I have become a master at fine print, LOL, been burnt more than once with the fine print print! I appreciate your honesty about reading others experiences with this product. I will google it and see if it is something that might benefit me.
I really need the help raising my credit score, I think once i get everything on track and the derogatories start falling off it should raise pretty quickly, we shall see.
Goodnatured also what you can do is keep up to the payments of the existing cards and debts. That is reported well in your credit file and helps improving your score. If you have closed accounts with derogatory then keep disputing them. I hope they will fall off.
loans
Listen to Laura!! She's 'got it going on'!! LOL Yep....keeping regular payments help your score, too. Even if you DO have bad credit, and apply for a loan somewhere, the lender may see MORE 'positive' credit, than 'negative'. Also......they look at you payment history.
