i have recently had a credit card bill passed on to me from an old address from three years ago. i had no knowledge of this bill and with the interest and charges over time it is now over four thousand, i am sure the original bill was for no more that one hundred. any advise on what to do?
You should immediately contact the credit card company from where you have received the bill and find out its origin. Only if they can provide you with all the details of the bill then only try to pay it off, else not.
You can also check whether the credit card number as mentioned on your bill is the same as any of the card you hold presently?
