Hi,
I was discharged in 10-2006 for chapter 7. But can a discharged debt be list 3 times for the same account in different amounts but all adds up to the full total?
Thanks

Hi Asecndchance
Yes, the listing can show in break ups in your credit report it the credit bureaus think so. If the bankruptcy covers three debts, then the discharged debts can be shown individually in your credit report or jointly. But it should show as "included in bankruptcy" and outstanding balance as $0.

I have filed a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2004. I am presently under huge debts. Can I file bankruptcy again?

If you already have a discharged Chapter 7 bankruptcy within eight years, you cannot file a bankruptcy again. This means that since you have a discharged bankruptcy in 2004, you can again file a Chapter 7 bankruptcy in 2012 and not before that. This eight years starts from the date from which the bankruptcy was filed and not from the date when it was discharged.
