CC is always paid on time, but reported as No Data????

I have an issue that I can't seem to find an answer to.

I have had a crdit card with my bank since 2004, it currently has a zero balance, but on my credit report it is reported as ND (No Data?) for the past two years??

I spoke to my bank but I was advised that they have been reporting it as good, so go talk to the credit bureaus.

What type of letter should I write requesting that the history be checked and reported as "good"

Thanks

A

I would get your bank to write you a statement to send along with your letter. Have the include a contact number and a name of the person to contact. If they are reporting then you should be getting the credit for this on your report. So far you will have lost two years of good credit history on this card. I would write out a request letter stating all that you have said here and send along a letter from the bank.

Thanks for the response. I appreciate all the help here. I went through a rough patch over the last 14 months or so due to returning back to school. I made it through the first three years ok, then my "secured" state provided aid (not traditional aid) was yanked from me. It was either finish and get a "real" job or struggle forever.

I just wish I bought the books that I have and stumbles across this site a bit earlier.

Thanks again

I would remind everyone that the FCA requires 100% completeness and 100% accuracy.

Anything short of that requires correction or deletion upon written request of the consumer...

Wow!! If the CB's DO remove the Cc data for information NOT being reported correctly, then that would give the OP NO credit history on that CC. WOW!! It's almost like a 'catch 22', in a way. However.I guess the way the CR is reading, ( if I'm not misunderstanding the OP) is that theOP DOES have a CC and the 'actvity' is not being posted on the CR.

Hi Adam D
I think that you should send a dispute letter to the credit bureaus telling them that you do not agree with the listing. When you send a dispute letter, the credit bureaus will verify it with the creditor i.e, the credit card company and will correct the listing in your credit report.
