Wanna say "Hello" to you. I'm not sure about the Revolution Card. I don't use it. However.......there are several people, on this forum, that can halp you with your concern. I'm sure one ( or two) will be here shortly. Hang in there.
Hi cubee001
Revolution credit card is not a VISA or a Master card. It is a just like a store credit card which is not accepted only in a some departmental stores. Moreover, you cannot use this Revolution card while you are out of US as it does not have the master or the VISA stamp on it. What I found is that the card offers a cash back of $5 on every $50 purchased, i.e, you get a discount of $5 on your credit card bill if you make a one time purchase of $50 with the card.
Yes, Revolution credit cards are just like store credit cards but it has tie ups with many departmental stores. This credit card can also be used to improve your credit history and therefore your credit score. But for that you need to repay back the outstanding amount within the due date just like ordinary credit cards. One difference between VISA and store cards is that the store cards comes with a host of offers as compared to general VISA or a master card. The Revolution card also have low interest rates and zero annual fees.
My bad ! Hello everyone. Thank you for all the replies. I just applied and they approved it right away online. I need to get a Visa or Master Card that easy to approve. Can anyone point out the way. Much appreciate :)
Hi Cubee
If you have a good credit history you can apply for a VISA or a Master card which you can use anywhere in US or even outside US. But if you do not have a good credit history or if you are about to start a new credit history, it is better to start either with secured credit cards or with store credit cards like the Revolution card. If you have already got a store card, just use it for a year or so and make a credit history. This will help you to get a unsecured VISA or a Master card.
Revolution Card
Hello everyone,
Revolution Card is just like a Visa or MasterCard but works a little different because it's the first PIN based credit card in the U.S. and stores no personal information on the face of the card (no signature, no account number etc). So basically if you lose it--no one can use it unless they have your PIN! It's accepted at over 300,000 retail locations and the company is all about giving you rewards at the point of sale instead of waiting years to accumulate frequent flyer miles.
They also have this thing (which is completely different) online called Revolution Money Exchange --it's like PayPal with no fees. I highly recommend taking a look.

How can I apply for a revolution card? It seems like I need an invitation for it.
