How can I remove a Judgment from my Credit Report(S)

As per the fair debt collection practices Act, a judgment may stay in your credit report for seven years from the date of entry or till the time the Statute of Limitation in your state has expired. Moreover, there are certain states in US where judgment can be renewed. Even if the judgment is satisfied, it will remain listed in your credit report for seven years. There are certain states like California where judgment can stay in your credit report for ten years and it can be renewed for another 10 years.

MARY..you said it can be 're-newed. for another 10 years? How would a judgement be re-newed? If you start paying on it, can the SOL restart? It's almost like...when people get advice on how to repair CR's themselves, thee is ALMOST always a 'Catch 22' onlong with it. You go 2 steps forward 3 steps back..kind a thing. I least that's how I feel, trying to deal with certain debts.
