Hi Angel,
This is not the place you are looking for. You need to contact the bank where you have applied for the card.

Thats a good idea. I would be sure to check and to see the old one was closed.
imagine credit card
i have had my imagine card a full year and payed on time. at my 1yr anual fee they charged my card 150.00 and stated this was the anual fee for this imagine gold card. i was mad as hell. i cancelled the card after 1yr of on time plus extra payments. this card is a rip off. there is no credit card that i know of that has a annual fee this damm high.
I know where you are coming from. It was a card like this that put the first bad mark ever on my report. Mine was a First Premiere credit card. It was suppose to be a one time annual fee and low and behold the next year an annual fee threw it over at the worst time ever. I am glad to hear you got rid of it.
Hi Chunk
The annual fee for Imagine credit card is $150 and so they have charged it. It is for this reason why one should always see the terms and conditions and check the fees before signing the credit card application form. Now since they have already charged it, you need to pay the annual fees, else it may be reported to the credit bureaus who in turn may list it in your credit report. This may have negative impact on your credit score. Now, your credit score may get lowered because the payment history factor, which has already contributed to your score, will be no longer there.
Wow that is an aweful big fee for a card.
GOOD CARD
CAPITALONE. ITS A GREAT CARD FOR BEGGINER CREDIT
What is so impressive about capitol one. Could you please leave a little more detail so that those who are looking for a starter card can have the info.
Imagine Full Of Crap
I applied for the imagine card and there was a 5.00 dollar deposit and mines did not come from my bank so they cancel my card and charged me 178.26 for what never used the card I want some answers.
You need to call them immediately. I would get this info as soon as possible so that it doesn't mark your credit. Did they charge your bank account? If so you need to go to the bank and ask how to have this money returned.
Hi Valerie
Immage credit cards has high annual fees of $150 and I think they have charged the annual fees with taxes on your card. But since they have never issued you the card, they cannot take this annual fees. So as Fireyone said, you should immediately contact imagine card services at their Customer Service number 1-888-598-8452.
Thanks for throwing the number in their Anthony...I look them up when I have time but usually try to get the poster to google them so if they need to contact another place they can see how easy it is to get a number on line.
I love this card!!!
When I first received this card the credit limit was $70.00. Like a lot of people I did not read the fine print, because I just wanted a card with a low limit that I could maintain, that would report to all the CB's all while raising my credit score. Well I began using the card for small purchases and within 5 months to my surprise, I had a limit of $210.00! I know that's not a lot but I didn't know I that I would receive CLI's every month for the first year, as I said, I did not read the fine print. I let them deduct my payment every month and have had no problems. Today my limit is $610.00, and it may sounds cliche, but if you take care of this card, it will take care of you. I will keep this card forever even with my FICO score in the 7's. They do not charge me to make a payment over the phone, I can use at the gas pump (the reason I say that is because other sub-prime cards are not able to be used at the pump), they have no cap on the credit limit increases like other sub-prime cards who usually stop @ $2,000.00, and best of all, they waived my annual fee of $15 dollars for being an outstanding customer. Having this card has made me cancel my other sub-prime cards like Rewards 660 and Continental Finance because this card has opened doors for me to get better card offers like Bank of America. Hopefully this company will stay in business and continue to evolve because for people who have bad credit or no credit, this couldnt be a better card to have in your wallet.

My 'experience' with Imagine did START out good. It was a $300.00 limit right 'off the top'. I made payments every month, through my checking account. However.....they started taking higher payments. I called and asked why the payments were changing. According to them, it said in the 'fine print' that the % rate would change, after so-many months. Also..I din't see, in the 'fine print' that the 'activation fee' was $150.00. They took that out after a few months, too. On another thread, I posted that Imagine was "working for me." That's before I started having all of these problems with them. Also....an Annual Fee of $150.00 (?). I was late with a few payments, which, of course, the 'late fees' kicked in. To make a long story short, a $300.00 card became a $700.00 balance very quickly. Gosh...what a mess.
Then I would advise anyone to first stay clear of this card and second always read the fine print. I know how you feel SD...thats how my credit got off track years ago...then I never did catch it up..the amount I owed built up so fast that I had no way of keeping up with it and they would not work with me.

I've called Imagine Customer Service several times. I either got someone who din't speak English, or....someone who give a darn. Yep...just couldn't up with all of the fees, etc.
I know how irritating it is to not get someone who speaks english and they wonder why there aren' too many jobs here. It is easier for them to hire someone overseas to answer phones since they will work for pennies. I have that with my interenet company. I had problems connecting and called the tech service. I couldn't understand him enough to even have him guide me through. I finally figured it out myself but after my time was up I called and canceled there service...the person was actually speaking engleish this time. I talked in some weird chant and they said they could not understand me...I said in plain english this time. "Yes and I can never understand your people at the tech support center so until you can hire someone who speaks my language then I am going elsewhere". It sisn't do any good cause my sister-in-law has that provider and gets the same thing...oh well

Same here, FIREYONE. I ouldn't understand anyone OR it was too late do do anything about it. Well......I think I learned my lesson about CC's. SOME of them ARE 'good' cards. However..i don't care how good they are, you STILL have to make a payment on them..ya know? BTW, FIREYONE...are you 'following' me around the forum? If you're doing that, I'm calling the Police!! LOL How ya been?

I don't trust these credit repair cards, they always charge an outrageous amount. I look into them and did not pursue them. Instead I tried for a retail card and got it. It also puts a different tradeline on my credit report.

A "retail" card? You mean like a Cc for a store..that kind of thing? How is that working out? How ya doing, GOODNATURED? Long time, no chat. Imagine was getting too much to handle for me.
Yes SD..try a store charge if you are looking to build your credit. It will take (sometimes) a few tries at the same place but usually by the third they will approve you. I worked in the retail clothing inustry for a few years and seen it happen over and over again. I asked my boss about it and she says this is usually how it works. It is a higher interest rate but hey when you are starting from the bottom up (like I was) it really does work and help a persons credit report after the card is in good standing for a few months.

Thanks. I'll try that when it's the 'right time.' I'm trying to work on deleting some things from my CR. Some VERY old debts, that the SOL's already expired. Can you suggest anywhere I can apply for?
Thise old debts SD you need to let go. Don't bother paying on them because it will restart the SOL and it really isn't going to help if they showed they are paid. They are a bad mark regardless so let them be.
The store I was talking about is really big here in pA and I am sure you have heard of it...Fashion Bug.

Are you talking about the Imagine CC, JEFF?! If you are, I've had my account 'closed', with them, for a while. Maybe someone else can 'shed some light' on that subject.
Jeff, Have you callled anyone at the Image card company and explianed this situation? Soemtimes they will be understanding and will not penalize you for the missed payment. I do think if it happened to you rrhen chances are it happened to someone else also. It maybe a good idea to run it through Google or Yahoo. Sometimes people will post things therre too.

When I was having trouble, with Imagine, I DID try and call Customer Service. I was 'on hold' FOREVER!!!!..i talked to someone who I couldn't understand, so, I guess I wasn't getting my 'point across'. It was frustrating...that's for sure.

I had a card with you sometime ago, but had financial problems and told you just to turn the account into the Credit Bureaus as a Charge Off and you did, I THINK. Would or have you ever got involved with anyone in Manhattan, NY, whom call themselves Investigators from The Dept. of Law and Investigators? These people are scammers. I have contacted the President of the US, Attorney's Office, A PI from Manhattan, NY and our local Police Dept. When you ask them the name of the Company, they say I have defrauded, they want give it to me, but they want ALL my personal information and $750.00 sent to them and NOP, I will not do that. Can you give me any info. on this?
Unauthorized drafting of my account by Imagine
Imagine has been drafting my bank account without my knowledge or authorization at Chase Bank. Imagine will not help me since I don't have an account with them, and never did. The bank has not been helpful either. So far they have only agreed to one reimbursement of $50.
you need to visit the individual card website and follow their application process, you can do this by putting the particular card in any search engine you choose.
Do you know why they are drafting your account/ Your bank should be able to get this stopped. I would go down to the bank and ask to speak with the manager. If they can not do anything to stop this then I would threaten to move my accounts elsewhere. I actually would do this anyway.
How long have you been with this bank, they should stand behind you especially if you have been a long time customer, hopefully you will get the help you need for them.
Any one out there have the phone number to Imagine?

Credit cards should never be used as a loan! In adidtion to that $24 fee, you'll pay monthly interest on that debt that will ratchet up your debt quickly. The interest on a savings account is pretty measley right now if you have no other cash, that is probably your best option.
