have been receiving calls at work from these people re: my wife's old debt. It's not a joint account. My wife doesn't work, but they say that they can garnish MY wages due to our marriage. Is this true?
Well, what a kind person your friend's mom was. I'm sorry your grandmother too nice. Mine had her definite idiosyncrasies and faults, but she wasn't really mean---just ornerier than hell. Of course, I was her favorite (first granddaughter) so my opinion was a little slanted. But, she always tried to help provide for my siblings and I when we needed stuff my parents couldn't get.
What is up with the guests post. I wonder why someone would even go throught the hassle of such stupiity. What would be the perks? They aren't having their voice heard, not getting paid, and is such a waste of time. Any way I am glad one of us lucked out in the granny department.
Hey Lorri we can put away our tissues GN is back. How is everything in your neck of the woods? Anything from that court hearing bull crap or do they still have you on hold? There is where they need to add another SOL. If they haven't moved forward after stopping SOL then they should not be able to after 60-90 days...something like that.
I am sorry to hear that you have been falling apart physcially goodnatured! As healing as meds can be it seems sometimes they will kill you in the process---I've been there.
I am on 500 mg of naproxen and 40 mg of flexeral, I have a chronic back condition from the army, came down straddle on a center beam and compacted my lower back. These are maintenance drugs, this is the first time that I have had problems with my stomach while taking them.
My goodness how can you take flexeral. They perscribed that to me for my RSD and I can not function. I feel like I could be part of some jello commercial. I usually suffer with plain motrin (800 mg) through the day. It takes the edge off but at night look out. I take **** and trazadone. It is a great "cocktail" that lasts foe a few hours. What side effects do you get and how the heck are you working on those? Sorry my med keeps getting filtered by the site so I can't list it. I am not sure why since it is non narcotic. :roll:

Smarty, You need to call your atty general or the FTC as soon as possible. They can not collect or garnish YOUR wages for a debt of your wifes (unless you signed on the account). If they were to take this to court, which they have to to garnish wages, the judge would not garnish your wages.
Sometimes these people will illegally dip into checking accounts. You can get the money back if the do by filing a dispute with your bank but that could take up to 2 weeks. Do not let them get this far. They at this point are harassing you and you need someone higher up to step in. One of these two agencies can and will help you.

You both can also send out a cease and desist letter and they then can only contact you via the mail system. If they do then they could be reported and fined. Make sure you send the letter certified to verify they got it.

Nope, back, shoulder and hip have been out, took anti inflammatory meds and tore my stomach to hell and back. But I am back.

I am not sure but I have taken it too and I absolutley hate it. I can not function on this med.
