It is highly possible that they can sue you again. If they provide with enough evidence and a good reason for absence in court, they can be granted a new trial.
You are on the safer side now as the case has already been dismissed. If it is possible could you tell us the reason why you have been sued? They cannot keep suing for the same reason over and over again.
