Just got a call from a company named Lanphier Associates, they say. Telling me that if I did not pay them or give them my lawyers name that they would pick me up tomorrow at 11am. First off, I do not have any PDL's nor have I for over a year. Second, I googled the name and it is a marketing company so I called them and let them know that this group was using their name in this way. DO NOT FALL FOR THIS. I also found on complaintsboard.com that others have been contacted. This is such a scam and it makes me really mad! Anyone else affected?
You are right. They are scammers mate. Don’t share any personal information with them. If required file a complaint against them to the SAG or FTC.
Don't go for them. They are scammers! Yes there are many debtors who have been affected. Just don't pay heed.
