Should I use a debit consolidation company or should I deal with on my own to pay off my pdls? I don't have a problem with paying what I owe I just can't afford all the interest payments. I feel like a fool for getting myself into this situation, and now not knowing what to do.
What state do you live in? Are your lenders licensed in your state? If they are licensed, then try to negotiate with your licensed lenders and set up a payment arrangement with them. Don’t hire a debt relief company as they will charge a heavy fee. Try to pay off your debts on your own. If your lenders are illegal in your state, then simply pay back them the principal amount and get out of this vicious cycle. In this case it would be better for you to close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account. Ask them for the refund, if you have overpaid them.
DIY is always the better process than getting help of any legal company.
