CRA errors SOL

I am disabled haven't worked for at least 8 years. My mom died and I have a little money coming from trust account.

So I went to open a bank account with a small balance to see if anyone tries to garnish it. They gave me a copy of the credit report. Their are 2 large credit card debts, a utility bill and some medical items reporting negative. Looks like in all cases these debts have been resold and they use the sale date of debt on both the CC company or and CA, or sale date from CA to CA to keep items that must be at least 10 years old on the credit report.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I was under the assumption that after 7 years of making no transactions or communications these debts were supposed to be removed from my credit reports. I have no judgments listed so none of these lenders can go after a judgement according to SOL.

How do I go about removing the negatives from the report. I realize the debt still exists, but even with the small trust money I wouldn't be able to pay the current balance probably not even the original loans.

It may seem pointless since I really don't see a way to to earn a living once again, but I used to have an 800+ score. With all the negatives I'm still 651, not as bad as I thought it would be. I would like to have access to a debit card and have even a few dollars in a bank account so I can rent a redbox movie or order something online and not have too beg my daughter or sister to help, or even get my own pay pal account so I can sell things online. I'm worried someone will try to garnish my bank account or maybe I might have some opportunity open up that would be extremely difficult to accomplish with negatives on my report. Like use the money to invest and make 13,000 + a year then I would qualify for obamacare.

Do I need to get all 3 credit reports and how do I get addresses for the CA's? I don't have a phone and I definitely don't want to give them my daughters phone number. And what kinda of letter do you send to dispute SOL or on the medical ones It doesn't even give the provider and I haven't been to Dr. in about 7 years. They said its incurable and theirs no treatment, I found I can manage the pain by walking and laying down no sitting or standing for long periods of time and much better then drugs so medical attention is kinda useless. And I'm not yet in the wheel chair they promised. I call that a win. Now I aim to beat the debt collectors.

If the SOL period in your state has already expired, then the CA can’t take any legal action against you. So you don’t need to worry about this. I think it would be better for you to inform this matter to the credit bureaus and if required dispute it with them to remove those entries from your credit report asap.
