My friend used to live with me but last year he was deported to his country Germany and owed $5,000 to a credit card card comany., two weeks ago a collection agency or a credit card company left a message on my answering machine for my friend to contact them by 1:00 pm otherwise they will persue to the court to get jusdgement against him. My question is that what they can do if a person is no more in the country since he was deported due to illegal stay.
Note: My phone number was provided to a credit card company when my friend applied for a credit card.

I receive a petation from them for a credit card I wasn't able to pay at the time. Call Easton group, they ask do I want To make Payment arrangement. I reply yes. They sent a request for payment arrangement form for me to sign along with it came consent judgement for me to sign . Do anyone know should I sign it. Oh there no payment amount or how long I have to pay it off on this form.

I have a student loan that I am disputing because they failed to help me obtain my GED or equivalent. How do I dispute this? Can I have my loan canceled completely? Any tips out there?

Hello..everyone. I see a few 'new' members on the Forum. After the Forum was 're-constructed', it was VERY difficult for me to get back on it. The system just kept kicking me off..I don't know why. Hopefully..it will no longer do that. Just wanted to say I missed talking to everyone.
