I can not believe how many scams are out there since I have been looking to get a loan to pay off our credit card debt . My husband hurt himself in Jan and just went back to work but he works in the manufacturing automotive industry and they are not doing very well very worried about his job. My credit card debt is about 14,000 and two car loans amounting to 10,000 .. We are in the process of our home loan modification and hoping that works out. I did however started calling on my own the credit card company's for example Lowes project card hate that one very high interest 16.79%because we thought we could pay it off in 6 months ha that was a joke on us.. Love that thought .. That is how we got so burried I guess.. Then my husband went on disability so we were living on credit cards to get through the 9 1/2 months... Anyways I have come to the realization that there is no bank right now that is willing to take on 14,000 of credit card debt in one loan especially to someone that in 2 years out of BK7 .... So we fell again and now I am doing my own research thats how I found this forum and like I said finding out a lot of the loan scams which is really great because I cannot afford to get into a scam to pay off stressful debt right now. It is pretty sad that these are actual people that are taking advantage of each other like this . I seen a site which had a company that I call _ _ _ ( Dont want to getin trouble lol) anyways the customer service reps /loan advisors were stating that they had to push consumers into advances on credit cards and loans that they could not afford.. Two employees came forward and this is one one the largest banks america deals with .. This is getting serious I am afraid to even talk to debt consolidation people. When I talked to lowe's the person I spoke to told me that they would cut my monthly payment in half and half my interest rate for 6 months that was the best they could do.. Well I told him about the credit consolidation I was looking into and he said I just did it myself and did not get charged high fees from those company's because that is all they do anyway. THEY CALL IN MAKE A DEAL TO CUT PAYMENTS AND CHARGE YOU TO DO SO.. So at this point it is so hard to believe representatives , loan officers, banks , I don't know anything else to do but deal with the companies I have the current loan with and make arangements and hope for the best. I am new here and so happy to find a forum to go to with others in the same deal..
Please if there is a loan that really can help enlighten me because I am at my wits end of trying to find something that just does not exist.. From what I have been reading we as a country ae in big trouble I went to youtube and was watching videos and wondering is this true ?? What is true and false do we really know anymore???
