Best Way to Dispute/Validate Certified Recovery-Payday Loans

These ARE mine. I'm not trying to get out of paying them ... I just haven't had the money up until now to try to do anything at all about them. I'm from Wisconsin, are these "legal" payday loans for my state, do you know?

I have 2 different addresses for Certified Recovery--at this point I want them to validate. Was planning to send letters to both addresses.

I guess my biggest question is this: since they haven't made a peep since 2005 (last reported on my reports), and these are from 2004, will sending Certified a letter now restart collection actions?

I read on another board that they cannot "sue" me for these as they were internet loans. I'm not sure that's true.

In any event, I no longer have any records on what I paid for either of these loans. One is for $270 and the other is around $350. I no longer have the bank account from that time. I do recall I kept renewing both loans so I paid on them for awhile. I can pay these now, if push comes to shove, but want them removed from my reports most importantly. Not just going to pay them and have them report it as a "paid collection," that's not going to help me here.

Thanks for the reply. I also posted this over in the PDL forum (I'm new to this website--so I didn't see the PDL forum at first).

They also suggested to first just dispute with the bureaus, which I did last Friday, so we'll see what happens. I'm really hoping that Certified Recovery won't verify with the CRA's, and then they'll just get deleted.

I have two payday loans that the companies changed over to use the word revolving charge account. I originally borrowed about $500 from each one; however, with not being able to make payments as required, the total for both is now about $2500.00. I have tried contacting the companies to arrange payment - one will not work with me at all and the other never calls me back.
