Credit card company can’t garnish your SS income since it is exempted from garnishment. But they can take your car or place a lien on your property to satisfy their judgment. If possible try to negotiate with the credit card company and set up a payment arrangement with them.

unless the car was bought with the card.they can't take it.however they can put a lien on your house if you own it,but no they can't take you car.
