I have been reading the forums and feel so relieved to know that this resource is available. But, i'm not sure where I need to start. I see that some have opted to close their accounts going into default. I am considering this, but am scared and don't really know where to start. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Payday lending is prohibited in Pennsylvania. That means all lenders in this state are illegal. You owe them only the principal balance, nothing more than that. Ask them for the refund, if you have already overpaid them. In this case it would be better for you to close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
