I am disabled and my only income is from SSDI . The judgment was entered at a time when I was not working, but before I started receiving SSDI. Am I considered "judgment proof"? Can I legally get the judgment removed, short of paying it? I have no assets other than a small amount of cash in my checking account.

Hi fltugger,

Can I know how old is this judgment? What kind of account is it? As for

desperate and … (not verified)

I am on SSDI and SSI. When I was still employed, a court entered a judgement against me for an unpaid car loan. The car company had threatened me with repossessing the car which I had agreed to but they never did. The original judgement was 13 years ago and was renewed after ten years. I will never be able to pay this. Can I ever have it removed?
