i need to compose a letter to file for a motion for more definite statement. im being sued by LVNV. i sent them a letter of validation and they replied with nothing. just the account number , my name and the amount owed. not enough proof of a junk debt, i believe. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi enlighten,

Welcome to this community :)

Motion for more definite statement can be filed by the opposing party in many jurisdictions under the federal law. This is done to obtain a more detailed motion on the issued judgment. The motion can either be taken up by the judge or can even be canceled on the basis of it's legality.

However, I am afraid there is no such letter available with this community. You may get some samples from the Internet. You can check out one such sample from "http://www.findforms.com/single_form.php/form/327895/Motion_for_More_De…;.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron
