Transunion reporting late

Hi,

I am having a problem with credit scoring.

TransUnion is claiming that I have a recent late payment (this month itself). I have 5 open credit card accounts and all 5 have been paid on or before the due date. I have 10 accounts which were included in a bankruptcy (chapter 7) filed 3 yrs ago. I have 2 accounts that have prior late payments. One is a 30 day late from 2005 August, and the other is a 90 day late from March 2007 (both before the BK7).

The late pay accounts are being reported as "current status" xx days late and the date of status reflects the late payment date. This is on TU, we will not go into the mess on EQ

Thank you all for the help and encouragement I have received here.

Hi Kalan,

Please let me know which of the late pay accounts are showing current late payments? If these are the ones which have been included in the bankruptcy then you can show the proof that these debts had got discharged in bankruptcy. However, if these are any of your current accounts you can dispute this wrong listing with the bureaus. Send dispute letters to the bureaus along with the copies of the payment receipts.

You will get a </repair/dispute-letter.html">sample dispute letter with this community. You can use that letter to write one of your own.

Thanks,

Aaron
