Overseas debt

Hello Everyone ,

I left America with a debt of $6500 , and moved to China 3 yrs back.

Now my question is --

I am applying for student visa in USA. Will the embassy people of USA be able to track my details of stay in America , will they reject visa ? My intention is to not run away from debts. At some point i will clear those debts.

Please help me regarding this.

Hi Keira,

I don't think the embassy will check your debt details. I don't think your debt will in any way affect your chances of getting a visa. Still, you can check for the requirements of visa application for U.S>A.
