my cra states that in oct.2010 it will be removed but i was told that a government loan has no time frame for removal, not sure what the truth is.

Welcome to this community :)

Va loans will get reported for the same amount of time as the traditional mortgage, that is 7 years. If you are facing VA home loan delinquency there are various ways in which you can avoid going delinquent on your VA mortgage payments. You will have to check out the various options with your VA lender.
