I have 2 charge off accounts on my credit history. But each one of them has got reported several times: first by the original creditor and by collection agencies. And I'm confused. Who should I send PFD letter to? To the collection agency or the original creditor?
I want to make sure that if they agree to PFD all negative listings related to the same account will be removed.

To remove the charge-offs you are required to send the "Pay for delete" (PFD) letters to the original creditors only. The charge-off has got reported by the creditors, and thus it is the creditor who can remove the negative listing.

To remove the charge-offs you are required to send the "Pay for delete" (PFD) letters to the original creditors only.
This is is not true. You do a PFD agreement with the entity that owns the debt. if collection agencies are reporting this debt it may be sold away from the original creditor. you must write each tradeline owner (OC and CA) and ask them who owns the debt.
Then you negotiate the PFD with the debt owner. and you have to dispute the other entities until they are removed. You can dothis through 623 and filing complaints.
Depending on how old the debt is. You might consider waiting till the debt is turned over to a CA and seeking validation. That is if it is a large amount of money.
