I have a secured credit card that is currently only being reported to Expierian and TransUnion. I called the bank and told them that my card was not being reported To Equifax. THey informed me that they don't report to them.
Is it possible to provide Equifax with information that would somehow get the card to show up on their report?
Credit card not reporting
Hi June,
Not all credit card companies report to all the three credit bureaus. I don't think you can do anything about this. You can only request the creditor to do that for you.
Thanks,
Aaron
some secured cards don't report. where did you get it? If you got it at your bank then use it responsibly and they will give you a regular credit card.

I just made a post, on another thread, about Secured CC's. CINNAMGRL is right..some Secured ones WON'T report to ANY of the CB's. (Personal experience here..)I know it's frustrating when you're trying to improve your credit, and it's not being reported.
Would you guys mind elaborating on which cards don't report to which bureaus?
I am currently working on a project on Secured Credit Cards and haven't had one company that they do not report to the big 3.

KATRINA.......I had a secured CC (from Imagine) that never reported to ANY of the CB's. Even though, their website said they were suppose to. "Working on a project?"..sounds interesting. How ya doing it?
I haven't heard of that one (Imagine).
As a hobby I write web content at Suite101 and for Demand Studios. I mostly focus on consumer rights articles and credit rebuilding, but occasionally stray into the holistic health and home improvement topic. (Strange mix - I know.)
I am actually putting together a spreadsheet (sortable) of secured credit cards for a series of articles I am researching. I have about 20-22 so far. I have found two with really high limits ($17500 and $25000) and one that has a rewards package. But most of the ones I have found all claim they report to all 3 bureaus.
well, it seems that all you have to is check whether they claim to report and then you know.
it is still useful to have a card even if it doesn't report

Imagine CC was a 'bad credit' CC. They claimed they would "report to CB's to help improve your credit." It was a credit limit of $300.00. Welll.......I found out, with imagine, if you're in 'good standing', with the CC, they WOULD NOT report it to the CB's. However..(I found out the hard way..) if you miss a payment, they DO report to the CB's. There 'fees' were VERY high and the % went up all the time.

Credit cards are known as bank loans. While lending money from a bank doesn't exist, hiinrg money does. When you hire something, it is known you have to pay back more then you borrowed. They wan't to make as much money as they can, by lowering your the minimal monthly payback. Be smart, pay more then this on monthly basis, or don't take a loan at all, or you'll find yourself in an entangled situation.
