I am summoned with a warrant n debt, I am on ss and fed. pension, I'm 75yrs old. I own my home and a 2001 jeep. can this creditor which is a credit gas card third party, lien my home or lien my jeep? I do have a wife but she is not on this card. The Gas card is BP

You have received a summons, and you are required to file an answer to that within the stipulated time. Else, the creditor or collection agency can win a default judgment against you.

You have said creditor, and have also mentioned third party. Can I know if it's the creditor or the collection agency?

The creditor or collection agency, whoever it is, can put lien against your assets (home and jeep) only if they win a judgment against you.

Can I know if the home, and the jeep is in both you and your wife's name, or are those in your name only?
