actually you shouldn't look for any address other than reported on your credit report. if it is not deliverable then the CRA must delete.
CRAs get all there data from a database called e-oscar but some shady collections agencies shut down or mislead people while the info remains in the database. the tradeline must contain accurate contact information or the CRA must delete.

Can I know the name of the collection agency? Then the members here may get another address where you may be able to sent the validation letter.
