Hello everyone! When I first came to this web site, a little over a year ago, I had just returned from a local Kia dealership. As I sat sobbing in the cubicle of the used car sales person I felt ashamed & embarassed. My credit score was so low it literally made me vomit. I had no idea how to begin to turn things around. I felt so hopeless and literally worthless. That day I came home and through a Google search I found creditmagic.com. My future has gotten brighter every day since that moment. I followed the advice given here by great folks like Mary and Cinnamongirl. I am proud to say that today when I checked my FICO score it has increased exactly 100 points in a year. I am no longer ashamed I am focused and thats because of all the great people on this site. Thanks everyone!

Same here!!! I've been following the advice, of the Forum, on 'how we can fix our credit ourselves'. Mine has really jumped, as well!! ALOT better now, than it was!!

I'll tell ya my 'steps' I did. FIRST and foremost...I just kept paying debts (loans, etc) down. The LESS I owed on the debt, the higher my Credit score was raising. There were a few debts I 'disputed' with the CB's ..and won, I might say!! The debts were taken off my CR. My advice?..just keep 'plugging away' at the debt you have now. You'll be surprised how you Credit score will go up.
