You may or may not pay, that is your wish but the fact remains that you still do owe the debt and let me also tell you that if you think of paying, remember that the SOL will be reset from the day you make a fresh payment.

Sarah the SOL on credit card debts in IL is 10 years but for medical bills it is 4 years or maybe a maximum of 5 years not more.
