Hi There,
I have investments in different states that belong to a trust account which I do not have access to. A couple years ago one of state's taxes was not paid and there was a judgment made in my name. The judgment is on my credit report as a public record that is "paid". I am now old enough that I'd like to apply for a credit card, but with this on my report, my score is horrible. I know this should have been disputed when it happened, but I did not have trusting people manging this account, and honestly was not involved because I was too young at the time. Is there any chance I have in getting this removed, considering the circumstances? It's devastating that something like this is affecting my future... thank you.
I think if you sent proof of your birthdate, you might be able to dispute it off the cras. like a birth certificate. Since it is paid it shouldn't come back
judgment
Hi bella,
Can you tell when was this judgment entered on your credit report?
Thanks,
Aaron
