Hi sunshine,

Can you give more details on your credit? A car rental company may run a credit check on your credit report.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi sunshine,

What is your score with TransUnion? Can you tell if there are any other negatives on your credit report? You should first try to improve your score. If you can't seem to get a secured card from any bank, try to join a credit union. You will be able to get a secured card from credit union. This will help you in improving your score.

Thanks,

Aaron

Hi sunshine,

It is very important to keep a track of your credit. Thus, you should pull your credit report at least 3-4 times a year. Check the report carefully for all the accounts that you have. You need to check if there are any negative listings like delinquencies, or late payments. You should try to go current on those.

Sometimes many discrepancies arise too. These are the wrong listings. You need to dispute these off your report, a this can hurt your credit.

You are also entitled to get free credit report once a year from www.annualcreditreport.com . This is the authentic site from where you can get your free credit report. As for the available credit limit, yes, a credit limit of 3,000 is possible.

Thanks,

Aaron
