Can you tell whether or not there are any other negatives on your report? As for the charged off account who is the original creditor? You can ask the creditor to pull back the account from the collection agency. If the creditor agrees to your request, you will be able to deal with the creditor.
Dealing with the creditor is much easier than dealing with the collection agency. Before making the payments towards your creditor, you can request the creditor to agree to a "Pay for delete" (PFD) agreement. With a PFD the charge-off will get removed, and your account will get reported as "Paid".

Is the negative tradeline a Collection Agency or the Original Creditor?
