Hello Everyone

I have a mortgage with Aurora Financial Group with NJ Housing as the investor. I submitted my package for loan modification that was denied for the reason of "secured by a bond". I called NJ Housing and they explained me that this loan is not under the government. My question is, if I hire an attorney to represent me in court, do I have a chance to modify the loan even if it's secure by a bond? I'm late now 5 month and they said that they are starting the foreclosure.

Hi rivizmatalon,

Welcome to this community :)

You can take the help of a loan modification attorney. The attorney will request you to provide you with all the details of the loan, after which he may submit a qualified written request to the lender to modify the loan.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

Aaron
