If there are any charged off accounts, you need to pay off the dues to the collection agency. Before you can start the payments, request the collection agency to agree to a "Pay for delete" (PFD) agreement. With PFD all the negatives marks on your accounts will get removed. You can also request your original creditor to pull back the account from collection agency. If creditor agrees to this, and the PFD agreement, the charge-off too will get removed from your credit report. This can improve your credit.
