Hello all, my name is Kellee.
I recently disputed some items on my credit report and yesterday I recieved a letter from a collection agency telling me they requested my appearance at their office on juch and such date and that naturally it was in my best interest to be there.
I realize I do not have to go to this and wont because I will be at work, I m just curious could it maybe be that they cannot verify the debt and would like me to show up and admit to something anything before there deadline is up with reporting back to the credit bureau?

Can you tell me whether or not you have checked your credit report after the disputes? If you have not then you need to check that immediately. You need to check the status of this account on your report?
You can also consult an attorney on this matter.
