I have a PDL loan with Astro Lending. It was for $300 and I have paid almost $1000 in fees to them and they're still debiting it from my account every payday. I don't know what the laws are in TN but it seems like this is a little out of control. Can someone tell me if there is any law that would prevent them from being able to do this. I would like to take care of this without having to close my checking account.

that's the only way as they are not legal,but since they have your bank info they will debit indefinitely.go to your bank see a manager and get that account closed,and they can setup a new one not linked to the old one.again that is the pitfall of the pdl trap.wis i could tell you otherwise,but i can't.
Astro Lending is an illegal lender. You owe them only the principal balance. As you have already overpaid them, so ask them for the refund. It would be better for you to close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
