I live in PA. I had a pdl with Midland Financial about a year ago. I have borrowed $200 and repaid $900, before I finally stop the debits. Now I have someone from Fidelis leaving messages every day. They want $200 to settle this debt. Any suggestions? I have way more than settled this debt as far as I'm concerned.

for one pdl's are totally prohibited in PA,and your state is non-garnishment so this is a bottomfeeder trying to collect on an illegal loan that you ovepaid.report midland, and this fidelis to your AG asap.then ignore future calls as you not only owe nothing, but should get a refund, but that is unlikely.
Payday lending is prohibited in PA. All lenders in your state are illegal. You owe them only the principal balance. Since you have already overpaid them, so ask them for the refund. Close down your old bank account and open a new one to stop debiting money from your account.
As payday loans are prohibited in PA, you shouldn't pay them anything more than the principal balance. It seems that you have already repaid more than what you should have done. Demand a refund and they ought to repay you.
