is it possible that my credit card company will make my months on my history that are 30 60 and 90 days past due green ( paid on time) if i pay a little extra? i had lost my job and couldn't make a payment for several months, was wondering if it was legal( and if they might possibly do it) for them to convert them to paid on time months for a little extra cash. if so i will have perfect credit history. let me know

Usually if you're late with ANY payments, from ANY Creditor, they do have the right to report the '30, 60, 90' on your CR. Have you called them up and tried to work something out with them? Thsi may be your first step.
If you have 30 to 60 days late payments, it can be removed from your credit report. For this you need to contact your creditor and negotiate with him. However, a 90 days late payment may be damaging because the creditor usually charges off a debt after 90 days and once a debt is charged off, it remains on your credit report for 7 years and cannot be removed before this period.
Now, even if you cannot remove a 30 to 60 days late payment from your report, it will stay there in your report for 2 years from the date you made the account current.
Ok good, as of now they are both current accounts ( citi and capital One) . but both are still over the credit limit, i will have one of them below the credit limit next month and the other below its credit limit in two months. thx for the answers, i will call my creditors and see what they say!
also if my account isn't closed is it still possible to get the 90 day LP's removed as well?
As far as I know, it is possible to remove 30 to 60 days late payments from your credit report by negotiating with the creditors. But in most cases, if there is a 90 day late payment in your credit report it is generally considered as a bad debt by the creditors and is charged-off. I think that you should contact your creditor immediately for the same.
Just got off the phone with capital One and they are gonna convert the late months to current after i pay the account below its limit this month :)
i should sign up here.. anyways thx for the advice/answers
